Le Teranga does not offer specific wheelchair-accessible rooms, but in addition to the average-sized rooms, the resort features some private villas which are very spacious and offer several bathrooms. With a wheelchair you get only in the baby pool without steps, the large swimming pool would have enough space for steps or a ramp, but has only ladders. The open-air restaurant is opening – almost everywhere in Senegal – after a quarter past eight. The food was not outstanding, but some dishes – especially the Senegalese – were delicious.
Why do we post even this rather average-rated resort here? Well, the resort is really very nice, the staff (except at the reception) was very helpful to get me to the beach and it was really the only acceptable accommodation for wheelchair users around Saly – we searched for one whole day…
