Iberostar Parque Central, Havanna, Cuba

This 5- star hotel on the Plaza José Martí has a disabled room with a large bathroom and walk-in shower. The queen-size beds are high and offer enough space for a wheelchair. Parque Central was the only hotel that we found in Havanna that has Wifi in the lobby (8 USD for one hour). Since there is only one room for wheelchairs and the prices are cheaper from abroad, you should book early. For us the casas particulares always were a better choice, as they are significantly cheaper and you easily get in contact with the Cubans, even if not everything was completely barrier-free…
